I’m a self-taught artist, creator, and the heart behind BohoRockstar — a brand born from the belief that creativity should feel expressive, intentional, healing, and a little rebellious. I never considered myself naturally talented at visual art growing up, but I had an art teacher who once told me that I had a creative spirit and simply needed confidence and practice. Years later, after attending a few paint nights, I realized art could be a form of rest and restoration. I started painting every day, teaching myself through experimentation, conversations with other artists, YouTube and TikTok tutorials, and countless Bob Ross reruns.

BohoRockstar began as an extension of the way I move through the world: a little fairy earth mother, a little edgy tattooed goth rockstar witch. The name itself came from a yoga teacher who once described my aesthetic that way, and it stuck because it felt deeply true. I’ve always believed personal style and creative expression say something meaningful about who we are beneath the surface.

My work is inspired by anything that feels poetic or emotionally alive — Taylor Swift lyrics, jazz lounge music, fantasy worlds, protest culture, social justice, moon imagery, mythology, literature, film, and the emotional tension between realism and whimsy. Picasso’s The Dreamer has always held a special place in my heart, and I’m endlessly inspired by artists and storytellers who create emotion, connection, and wonder. Whether I’m painting animals, dragons, pop culture references, spiritual imagery, or creating intention bracelets by hand, I want my work to help people feel something: joy, comfort, nostalgia, empowerment, laughter, or a sense of connection to themselves and the universe around them.

In addition to creating artwork and jewelry, I host virtual paint nights and incorporate elements of yoga, tarot, meditation, and intuitive practice into my creative life. While creativity started as something deeply personal and restorative for me, sharing it publicly happened after people began connecting with the work and encouraging me to bring it into the world. As a full-time caregiver who works remotely, markets and creative events became more than a business opportunity — they became a meaningful way to connect with people, build community, and create moments where others feel seen.

At its core, BohoRockstar is about intentional expression, emotional connection, and finding beauty in the things that make us human, magical, vulnerable, and wildly ourselves.
